Our Mother’s Day Italian brunch buffet is abundant, colourful and full of comfort.
Begin with antipasti and cold selections that feel like a trip to the Italian coast. Heirloom tomato Caprese with aged balsamico. Prosciutto and melon. Marinated olives, roasted vegetables and artisan cheeses. Fresh seafood including smoked salmon, tuna carpaccio, marinated baby octopus, prawn cocktail and insalata di mare.
Move into breakfast favourites and bakery treats, from rosemary potato frittata and Italian pork sausages to warm bomboloni and cornetto filled with pistachio custard or Nutella.
The pasta and hot mains bring richness and comfort. Spaghetti aglio e olio, truffle gnocchi, classic beef lasagna, linguine marinara bianca and slow roasted porchetta. Chicken cacciatore and fried oysters with herbs and pecorino complete the spread.
