Celebrate Lunar New Year in style at Stamford Grand Adelaide with our Lunar New Year High Tea, a perfect blend of traditional flavours and fresh, seasonal Australian ingredients. This is our third year embracing this special occasion, and we continue to bring you the best of Singaporean and Asian influences, wrapped in the warmth and celebration of the Year of the Snake.

Our curated high tea menu features a delicious mix of sweet and savoury delights, ideal for the summer season. The perfect balance of bold SE Asian flavours and classic Australian treats will transport you to the heart of this festive celebration.

Savoury:

• Chilli Crab Buns: A Singaporean favourite, these buns embody the rich and festive flavours of Lunar New Year, offering a delightful blend of spice and sweetness, representing prosperity.
• Cha Shao Pork Sliders: Juicy, sweet, and savoury, these sliders are a modern twist on the traditional char siu, symbolising unity and abundance.
• Satay chicken and peanuts sauce on wholemeal bread: Housemade Stamford Signature Satays for the true taste of Singapore.
• Signature Singapore curry puffs: A true Stamford tradition, crafted from the owner's recipe for an authentic taste of Stamford's heritage.
• Sichuan pepper beef tartlets: Bold and spicy, these tartlets symbolise prosperity and wealth, perfectly embodying Lunar New Year flavours.

Sweet Treats:

• Plan Scones and Chinese Date Scones with cream and preserves: Dates are a symbol of prosperity and good fortune in Chinese culture. Their natural sweetness represents wishes for a sweet and prosperous new year, making them a meaningful addition to Lunar New Year celebrations.
• Individual red bean cheesecake bites: Red bean, a traditional ingredient in Asian desserts, symbolises happiness and togetherness. Its red hue also represents good luck and joy, making it an auspicious choice for the festive season.
• Pandan and Coconut Lamingtons: Combination blends Pandan and Coconut, both beloved flavours of Southeast Asia, with Lamingtons, Australia’s iconic national dessert. A true fusion that celebrates both cultures.
